Hi! My name is Irina Glik.

I'm excited to meet you here!

Long story short. I have degree in civil engineering, legal and photography. My experience in the field of law allowed me to receive the Commendation of the Prime Minister of Ukraine.  On this page I will share with you my achievements as a photographer.

Multilingual Ukrainian American photographer, researcher, writer with background in public service, archives keeping, variety of academic databases and photography.


Regular advocate of using digitized archives for non-English speakers, founder the only Russian language blog about American digitized archive. Articles, critiques on art and photography, as well as translated posts have been published in numerous European media sources.


Portfolio includes several personal shows at major Ukrainian metropolitan areas and public collective exhibitions as well.

Currently studying the bromoil process.

I am USA based representative of Ukrainian-Georgian Photography Festival.

Diplomant of Ukrainian photography contest of Abstract photography.

Winner of the X festival of Ukrainian photography Clubs.

Participant of Ukrainian-Georgian photography fest (Odessa-Batumi Photodays).

Volunteer in numerous Ukrainian photography artprojects. Organized and provides workshops in Cameraless Photography, Photographing from senses, lectures in American and Ukrainian art photography.

I continuously strive for perfecting my skills through continuous education, as well as through research projects, published articles on photography topics and participation in photography contests.

I believe it is really important to be able to write at least a paragraph about a work of an artist. If you learn how to think, how to write and have a good work ethic I believe a lot of things can happen to you. That is why I have written and translated numerous art and photography articles in/into Russian/Ukrainian.
